Check out this upcoming post-apocalyptic adventure film Mortal Engines brought to you by from the producers of Lord of the Rings Peter Jackson. Directed by Christian Rivers, it stars Hugo Weaving, Hera Hilmar, Robert Sheehan, Jihae, Ronan Raftery, Leila George, Patrick Malahide, and Stephen Lang.
Mortal Engines follows a story of a sheltered 16-year-old Londoner Tom Natsworthy having to get his first taste of the outside world as he rubs elbows with fugitive assassin Hera Hilmar who is plotting revenge against the head of the Guild of Historians Thaddeus Valentine.
It will premiere on December 14th in the US, which is a little late compared to its advance screening in the UK and New Zealand. It will show in cinemas near you alongside Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
