It’s time again for the Free Comic Book Day which excite readers to rush to comic book stores on the 5th of May. Each year more comics are offered for free to entice readership in the comic industry. This also helps to bring new readers into independent comic book stores. Free Comic Book Day started in 2002 and took place every first Saturday of May and since then it has grown exponentially. The idea of Free Comic Book Day started with Joe Field of Flying Colors Comics in 2002. This year, more than 50 special issues from different publishers motivates the audience to participate and get to know more of the comic book series, characters and concepts.

1. Marvel Avengers/Captain America
