Baby Cakes Bloomer
“Life is a precious gift extended by God so never, ever, ever, allow the negative forces to steal your destiny”.
Baby Cakes Bloomer was born in rural Caddo Parish in July 1961. She was educated and has worked in the Shreveport-Bossier area for the last thirty years. She gratefully believes that she is now living in the fulfillment of God’s Love, Grace, and Mercy on her life and is on a mission to encourage, inspire, and help others to find in some instances a solitary place to garner a better understanding of God’s purpose in allowing the broken in spirit to find peace and wholeness in life through divine healing and deliverance by using everyday current events familiar for some to bring the message home.
She is an animal and human rights activist, southern cuisine cook, gardener with a love for day lilies and other greenery. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and co-owned a restaurant, “Wilbert’s Country Kitchen,” in DeSoto Parish with her husband, Wilbert. BC Bloomer is a woman who loves people especially the lost and confused, rejected, abused, and neglected and wishes to see people who live challenging lives understand the power they hold within themselves to be the best they can be despite the debilitating circumstances they sometimes face in life. She believes that the first priority is to save self through education, personal faith, and adhering to what she calls the “saving” elements being recognition of the obstacles holding you back from achieving, resistance, perseverance, patience, contentment, and finally appreciation and acceptance sometimes so that peace can be attained. She has coined a phrase, “I am nobody but somebody who wants to tell you about how I survived my ordeal and lived to tell about it”. She is a missionary for Christ with her purpose being to help the unchurched see God’s promises and blessing through the use of God’s Word and in sharing her own spiritual life’s journey. It is her greatest desire that her readers recognize their God-given talents and potential for living blessed lives but also warns against bringing unwanted destruction into their lives through criminal activities, rebellion against society and God, and lack of self confidence. She also adamantly expresses never to give up on your dreams no matter how hopeless the circumstances seem and says, “Never, ever, allow the negative forces to steal your destiny”.
