Judy A. King
“A person can do what they think is impossible”
Judy King was born in Newcastle, Wyoming on May 21, 1942. Although not much of a workaholic, she puts her soul and patience to her love for literature and arts. She used to do pencil portraits a lot. It’s the art she loves so much.
Life and Career
Judy’s interest in Literature has led her to join various organizations, which include The Institute of Children Literature, Wyoming Writers Inc., and Weston County Historical Society. Having to interact with different writers in every organization she joined in, Judy was able to further develop her interest and skills in writing. Among her works was the Yellow Star, which was published on April 3, 2017.
The book was somehow inspired a bit from her daughter’s courage to do things that other people might think are impossible. She saw the challenge to see if a young girl could make it to Fort Laramie in Indian Territory in a 1864 setting.
